ANAS, together with other TTI’s in the Province of Eastern Samar joined the Launching Ceremony for training programs to be conducted in the town of Malitbog, Southern Leyte- an area critically hit by Typhoon Odette, a storm that ravaged some places in Eastern Visayas and most of Central Visayas in December last year 2021.
Led by Dr. Renato T. Picana, the Vocational School Administrator; ANAS is tasked to train 1 batch of Typhoon Odette Survivors (25 beneficiaries from Brgy. Concepcion) on Basic Carpentry Works with Mr. Mario Anire as the Trainer.
Once done, the skills they will acquire in this training will help rebuild the homes ruined due to the winds brought by TS Odette, and hopefully the beneficiaries of the training will also be able to be of help to their fellow TS Odette victims.
Previously, TESDA RO 8 community also distributed relief goods to some communities in the worn late December 2021.
