Arteche National Agricultural School (ANAS) continues to champion gender equality and inclusivity through its Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives. This year’s activities highlighted the importance of empowering women and fostering a supportive community for all.

The celebration kicked off with the hanging of the National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) streamer, a symbol of ANAS’s commitment to gender advocacy. Faculty, staff, and students came together to honor the contributions of women with a sweet treat for hardworking women, acknowledging their dedication and efforts.

To promote health and wellness, the school organized #ZumbaGADkita, an energizing session that encouraged active participation and camaraderie. The Flag Lowering Ceremony also served as a platform to reflect on gender awareness and equality.

The highlight of the celebration was the Women’s Month Kick-off Event in Oras, Eastern Samar, on March 8, 2024. The event reinforced the significance of inclusivity and equal opportunities for all, strengthening the school’s commitment to GAD programs.

Through these initiatives, Arteche National Agricultural School continues to foster a gender-sensitive environment, empowering individuals to contribute meaningfully to society.
